Welcome on my website.
I am a musician, TV-director and a (cultural) entrepreneur. On this site you\’ll find some information about my current and past activities.
In recent years a substantial part of my work consists of TV/video directions of large (music)productions. I directed TV-productions of the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra (for AVROTROS, Unitel, ARD/ZDF, MEZZO), the Wiener Philharmoniker (Musikverein Vienna for ORF), Luxembourg Philharmonique (Unitel Classica), Dianne Reeves (Jazz award recordings), Anne-Sophie Mutter, Buena Vista Social Club, Tokyo Metropolitan Symphony Orchestra, Yuja Wang, Jazzorchestra of the Concertgebouw, Fay Claassen.
I directed opera\’s like \’Ring des Nibelungen\’, \’Czàrdàsfürstin\’ and \’Hamlet\’ for the ORF in Vienna. I also did the first 3D operarecording in the Netherlands with Opera South and I directed opera\’s from Opera2day.

In 7 concerts Igor Levit played all Beethoven Sonata\’s during the Salzburger Festspiele. My aim was to make a very intimate and close-by recording.

Jaap van Zweden 50st birthday
New York Philharmonic conductor Jaap van Zweden was back in the Netherlands to celebrate his 50st anniversary. This special concertante performance of Fidelio was broadcasted during primetime (which was exeptional anyhow) on Dutch Television.
Anniversaryconcert 150 year Musikverein in Vienna
Exactly on the day and hour that the first notes sounded 150 years ago during the openingconcert of the Musikverein in Vienna, the Wiener Philharmoniker played the same program in an anniversaryconcert. Live directed for a broadcast on the Austrain Television ORF. Great soloists and an audience with many celebreties made this a unique concert.
